Pharma College has undergone a remarkable transformation since its establishment.
Located in Hawassa, about 275 km south of Addis Ababa in the Sidama Regional State of Ethiopia, Pharma College was founded in 1996 by Mr. Seyoum Kebede, a professional pharmacist, under the original name Pharma College of Health Science.
It is the first privately owned higher learning institution to receive full-fledged college status in the former SNNP Regional State.
The College began with 60 Pharmacy Technology students in 1996 E.C (2004 G.C) and has since expanded to offer Diploma programs in Public Health, Pharmacy, Nursing, and related fields.
It later launched Bachelor's and Master's programs, including:
